Since it is abundantly clear that the rule by fiat which has fallen over the Southeast threatens to take over and transform this region into a police state, I am hereby announcing my candidacy for Governor as a Unionist Social Democrat. I know that the Southeast supports Unionism rather than reactionary treason, but we must prove it this month at the ballot box.

99.999% chance that secession would not kick in before the election even if passed.  Actually, it might be higher than that.  Great to see that this has brought another inactive Dirty Southerner out of the woodwork though

     I can also promise that it wasn't the Arizona Army. Looking at my map, I can see that your home is in Region 2, which has no regional governor as of this time.

     As such, it appears that the "government" invasion was the responsibility of private citizens, agents from Nyman, or Mr. Noman. I'm serious, no local government has been set up yet in your area.
