Lets say Obama shocks everyone and picks Colin Powell as his VP. McCain to try to answer back picks Joe Lieberman. How would this race turn out, what would the EV map look like?

BTW- I don't know where Powell lives but I know he was born in NY so I put that as his homestate.

My dad, who is very racist and doesn't like McCain said that if Obama picks Powell he would vote for Obama.

Totally disagree. If someone had an issue with a two minority ticket chances are they wouldn't be voting for a black man (well, bi-racial) anyway. Powell still has considerable crossover appeal and could easily switch sides if he wanted to at this point.
