Well, I don't want my wit to go unnoticed and I spent a couple minutes working on this post:

ACORN middlemanship?  Obama trained ACORN operatives in community organizing.  He ran a voter project for ACORN in 1992.  He was a lawyer for Acorn.  He took money from ACORN in his election campaigns.  He ran for State Senate on a socialist party line that has ties to ACORN.  He gave campaign funds to ACORN.  He directed Illinois funds to ACORN.  He and his Democrat compatriots tried to divert bailout funds to ACORN.

Barack Obama is the Senator for ACORN.  Not some middleman.

You know, your constant insistence on contorting situations to fit the most GOP-favorable light is really squandering your intelligence and usefulness as a high-information poster.  Thing is, I actually know enough about ACORN's involvement in the Chicago (and, yes, I've read the Malkin/HumanEvents series too) to not just accept this at face value, as I've pretty much learned I can't do with you.  And that's a shame.

Anyway, talking points appreciated, but I was talking specifically of ACORN'S involvement in the educational services that Torie was talking about, and what sort of curriculum was involved.

Conflict of interest?  Discuss.

If I ever find myself with millions of dollars of extra cash, I'd have Naso create a featured film just to see what it would be like.

Tough to say. Disney makes entertaining films...but those Lifetime depressing feminine drama films sometimes have the hottest underwear and/or sex scenes....many a time flipping channels at 10:44am on a sick day from school as a young teen when a Lifetime movie would shoot my temperature up.

Any suggestions for films or movie trailers?

I urge everyone to boycott Bill Maher's new movie Religuolous.  This movie boldly makes fun of Christians and Christ Himself.  This is a slap in the face to all who believe in Jesus as Lord and Savior, and is also a slap in the face of any decent person, of any religion or non-religion.

This is a travesty and a pity.  I urge everybody to stand up and bankrupt this horrible film.

How can Bill Maher stoop so low as to slap all Christians in the face and worse, yet, slap his Creator in the face?

Disgusting, but it caused me to laugh my ass off.

http://www.cnn.com/2008/US/10/08/nebraska.safe.haven/index.html

Basically, Nebraska has a "safe haven" law that allows parents to abandon their children at a hospital without being prosecuted.  This is designed as a last resort effort to prevent harm to the child by either not being born in the hospital or otherwise...

The problem is that, unlike every other state, Nebraska does not give an age limit.  Instead, the law simply says "child" whereas most other states have a 72 hour window or up to 1 year in North Dakota.

13 of 17 children that have been abandoned since the law took effect in the state have been over the age of 10.

Last week a parent drove their 14 year old daughter across state lines and dumped her off at a University hospital.

I'm pretty floored by this.

Why does God always talk to individuals in fields and mountains never to groups in urban areas?
He does. They're called schizophrenics.

Keep in mind that BRTD has a wholly different definition of emo from the rest of mainstream society.

And that if I had my way, we'd have special police units to enforce the laws against retarded "fake emo" haircuts. Patrols would swarm the streets, and anyone with hair over one eye would be tasered, dragged to a facility, and had their head forcibly shaved.

Too bad BRTD isn't Kim Jong Il's heir to North Korea.  I'd love to see him run the country.

BRTD running a country as a dictator and a feature-length film directed by Mike Naso.  Those are two things I'd like to see.

What about a Naso feature-length film about a country run by BRTD as a dictator?

Not unless they are meeting Robert Byrd at the Robert Byrd Memorial Burning Cross (cost $3.5 million dollars as allocated by the Stop Molesting The Children Act of 2003).

I'm sure he can fit something in somewhere.

I will say to anyone who wins:  "After you the deluge."

Heavens knows you've been practising already...

I'll say to any candidate that wins, "After you the deluge."

After you, the deluge.  One term, whoever wins.

I would say to President McCain:  "After you the deluge."

I will say to whomever wins "After you, the deluge."

I said "After you, the deluge," which is a play on the line by Louis XV.  I intend to say that to whoever wins.

I would not call 1968 and 2004 reaignments, though I think we are heading for one, hence my saying to whomever wins, "After you, the deluge."

"After you, the deluge," is what I will say to the winner of the 2008 election.

As I've said, I will tell whomever wins, "After you, the deluge."

I would tell any candidate elected, "After you, the deluge."

I would say to any candidate, "After us, the deluge."

Still, my "pigeon entrails" prediction was for a Republican victory in 2008.  "After us, the deluge."

I think if Obama wins, he's better turn to Michelle and quote Mdme. de Pompadour:

After us, the deluge.

It's literal translations is, "After me the deluge (flood, or storm)."  It is sometimes rendered as "After us, the deluge."

What's the difference between a hockey mom and a deluge?
