1.  And the LORD Obama took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof;
2.  And the rib, which the LORD Obama had taken from himself, made he a running-mate from the swing state of Ohio.
3.  And the LORD Obama said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: he shall be called Barry Wobama, because he was taken out of Obama.
4.  And they were both Democrats, the LORD and his running-mate, and were not ashamed.

I just heard (on NBC) that Gov. David Paterson (D-NY) will speak on Tuesday night.

I can see that being a truly visionary speech.

Confused, mostly. Or dead. If I wasn't dead, then confused. I'd be all like, "Hey, I live in Ohio, bombing us isn't a great way to help your buddies win in an election year.. tends to irk folks."

Obama/Biden: 375
McCain/Palin: 163

It's a bit generous to McCain, I know.

Alright, this should finally put to rest rumors that Gporter isn't a joke poster:

*warning do not drink beverages while reading this*

What is your stance on genocide? Do you favor or oppose it?
if it were put as a bill and if I were to vote on it, then I would not vote.

I would put forth to the senate a resolution to a bill that included this. One that permited  genocide in certain situations and not in others. But, I would not vote on a bill that either permitted genocide in all situations or one that did not permit genocide in all situations. I think that we need a compromise between those two.

That may well be his funniest post ever.

See context:

2 theories:
a) a typo. It was supposed to be "god-less America", what with the separation of church and state and all.

b) American sneezed and it was an attempt to rid the country of it's cold symptoms.

Clinton is still seen as unsuccesful in the eyes of the voters, and Perot is not that there is the "change" candidate in this scenario.  Gingrich excites the Republican base, and the pick of Kean gains some support in New England.  When the dust settles, Speaker Gingrich eeks out a narrow win:

"After you the deluge."  Basically, the party that wins this one will be destroyed in 2010 and 2012.

Should all things that "suck hard" be banned?  You guys are scaring me.  I thought it was just Harry and BRTD that thought this way.

Yeah, otherwise we'd have no Lewinski-esque interns.  Tongue

If Kerry doesn't get offered the job after this "corrupt bargain" what can he do?  "Aaah I got swift-boated again!"
