I think in 1992 foreign policy wasn't as important as it is in 2008.  Of course, I wasn't around, but that's my thought.
Um. It wasn't. We weren't at war in 1992.

I'm hoping it's here because of the "I wasn't around" part... certainly '92 was "we're at peace, now let's spend money here" election.

But I'll go against my own rule and say that it is here because the idea that foreign policy wasn't important during the end of the Cold War/post Persian Gulf War/around the time of Somalia is completely assinine.

Maybe the Goldmine isn't the place for debate, but it appears that was posted here as a form of debate, a way for you to vehemently disagree with something that's actually pretty accurate.

I don't know where you were or how old you were in 1992, but perhaps you've heard, "It's the economy, stupid"?

(Rachel Maddow's) infatuation with obama is enough to make one vomit on the floor.

but she isnt nearly as big of an ass as the mediocre former sports reporter.

Sarah Palin? Wink

Either it was vaporized or there's a VIP area of the site I don't have access to.

brittain33, this is a question more out of curiosity than anything else.  Which one of you is the 'man' in the relationship?  Or do you switch roles?  Do you cook and clean one day, and watch football the next?  Do you both have lisps, or just one of you?

I love me some Vander Blubb.

J.C. Watts' father used that line a dozen years ago, and it was probably older than rocks before that.

Have you ever been there? It is a joke state. Sorry Joe.

Yes I have.  And no, the state isn't a joke.  It's a good place to incorporate your company or buy stuff (no sales tax).  The only joke is the toll the state charges you to drive a whopping 15 miles through it.

No state is a joke, regardless of how it votes.  I'm tired of seeing hacks call Republican-leaning states jokes.  They're not.

No, no, think about it.  If Delaware were to break off and float into the Atlantic, would you really notice?  No way.  Three weeks later, you'd be like, "weird, I haven't gotten a credit card offer in a while.  Huh."  And then your life would go on, blissfully Delaware-free.

What exactly qualifies Napolitano for this office?

She can see Mexico from her house.
