I'll say it louder: Bill Richardson!

1. Executive experience as governor
2. Federal government experience as a cabinet official
3. HUGE foreign policy and U.N. credentials
4. Obama needs serious help with the Latino vote
5. Kerry states plus Iowa + Colorado + New Mexico = White House.
6. Richardson will bolster Obama's Western strength in general.

He would be a very, very solid choice.

all good points BUT, he's also got a reputation as a womanizer, he's been awfully close to a variety of scandals, his whole resume seems incredibly well put together to make himself a candidate, he reeks of slimy politician, he doesn't really seem to resonate in the latino community, he's an amazingly bland campaigner and poor speaker.

New Mexico, while close, is only 5 EV's and Obama's been favored there, so if he were to lose NM, he could be in trouble anyway.  Arguable how much Richardson's regional appeal will extend beyond NM.

On paper, other than Hillary, he's the best choice.  In real life, I kinda think he'd be a bust.
