And as we all know, those that watch cable news on Friday morning are a very large and crucial demographic.

Front page of every newspaper in America has a big picture of Obama and Co. guys. Don't get too excited. Smiley

as do all the major websites.

And what's the lead story the day after Obama's acceptance speech?  The GOP Veep.  Smiley

I've been flipping between FOX News and CNN for the past hour and I've seen none of Obama's acceptance speech. For the McCain campaign, that is a brillant move.

You aren't trying hard enough. CNN and MSNBC don't even mention this VP headfake on their websites.

Alot of people are at work, where the website is the only thing they can get to. And people at home are packing or driving.

Why is no one suggesting Meg Whitman?  She's probably most likely right now after Palin, Ridge, and another person no one is mentioning, Rob Portman

Chicago Tribune also says it's Palin:

Very, but the press is much worse.

I went to bed thinking it was Pawlenty and mulling Obama's speech.  Smiley

This pick would be quite the maverick pick, sends an olive brach to women still ticked at Obama, and put a conservative on the ticket. It doesn't fulfill someone who can be President if something happens to McCain. She's also still very inexperienced.

I think we're jumping the gun on this. There is one Republican source out there saying that Palin is the nominee. Palin is in Alaska right now, and is attending the state fair in Anchorage. McCain is in Ohio, ready to make his announcement two hours from now. It takes maybe ten hours to fly from Alaska to Ohio. Maybe it's true, but it seems... highly unlikely, despite the leak.

(As far as Intrade is concerned, though, foreseeing the rumor would have made you oodles of money.)

Link for those seeing the "mystery Alaska plane in Dayton" story:

Anyone know if Palin is good on the hump, umm, I mean stump?

(Sorry, I had to.)
