As I just said, city government positions are obscenely overpaid. If you look here, you'll see that pay for city employees ranges from $50,000 to over $150,000 a year.

Not at all obscene, or at least no more so than the cost of living.

The cost of living in San Francisco is overblown. I've found that I have to eat at fancy restaurants every night & drive all over the place just to spend $30,000 in the course of a year. Anyone not named Opebo can get by on about $50,000 a year here. $150,000 is overkill.

Odd. I don't remember your part of town being that cheap.

Besides, you don't quite lead the bourgeois lifestyle expected of a career government employee.

Maybe I am exaggerating when I say fancy restaurants, but the most restaurants in the neighborhood will charge on average for a meal is $50. $30-35 is more common.

But there are other things to add in as well. Electricity bills, for instance. Grin

Senator-elect PiT addresses roaring crowds of supporters along famous East Battery Street in Charleston, South Carolina, home of the Governor of the great region.

Good evening, everybody. It is with the utmost gratitude that I approach you all tonight. You have voted me in as your Senator, by a not insignificant margin. I hereby humbly accept this mandate that you have placed on me, to help advance my beliefs in the Senate.

Among these beliefs is that we must strive to the utmost to retain a Senator who is solely accountable to the people of this great region. You have chosen me to be this Senator, & I will work my hardest to see to it that I am not the last of this distinguished line, even should you deem fit to return me to this office for 10 millenia.

Another of these beliefs is that we should prioritize smart spending. In doing so, we may be able to keep more of the money that we give our blood, sweat, toil, & tears for, not only in our own pockets, but in those of our children & our grandchildren.

I wish the brightest future to my opponents, Bacon King & Gporter. I hope to see Bacon King back in the Senate soon. I also hope to see Gporter get lucky in his ongoing quest for office. Wink

I need to wrap it up soon, Tongue so I thank you all, I will always give my hardest, so that the great people of the Southeast will never be disappointed to have me as their Senator.

Good night everyone, & once again, Dave bless Atlasia!

I am so glad we won this.  I would usually not trash on your opponent, but considering the joy people expressed in me leaving the senate, I must say I am glad to see BaconKing go.  He represented the old inactive Southeast rather than the new vibrant Dirty South

There are some Israeli posters, actually.

Quite possibly.. hell, I've second prefrenced you a few times. You tell me.

I'd like it to be; all you need to do is say the three magic words: I endorse Ben.
