     SPC hasn't had an L-CA avatar in a long time, as I recall. Anyway, I changed it because of the Republican party's increasingly inexcusable attacks on various places & people. The straw that broke the camel's back was the ad comparing the blind rabbi running in NJ-5 to Ahmedinejad.

     I'm not a pothead, though I have been called crazy. That aside, there are a couple of folks with yellow avatars here who are not at all crazy. Or potheads (I think).

     Nice. At some point in the future, I might go back to the R-CA avatar for aesthetic reasons, though I do plan to register as a Libertarian.

That is why for a while I had the (I-CT). The reason why I'm back to the Republican avatar is to show my status for the upcoming election..atleast for Congressional. I don't hate conservatives, but I can't stand the hardcore conservatives who are trying to push us moderates and liberals out of the party.

     I will use computers at school & at work. Sure, I wouldn't be able to post on weekends, but it probably would last a few days at the most.

     I have one now. However, the power company wants to turn off my electricity & it's unlikely that I'll get the money to pay them before they do, so that would mean a few days without computer access at home. Also, iPhones are out of my price range, sad to say.

     I have a $15,000 check. My mother plans to open a new bank account & put it in tomorrow. They would probably hold it for a week (it's a large sum of money). However, Friday of next week is also the deadline to pay the bill. You see what my problem is.

     No. She sold some bonds for $15,000.

so You won't make a policy?

     My policy is that I strongly encourage others to take an active part in Atlasia.

     You speak as if no one has ever done anything because I asked them to. Some of the people I have recruited  have indeed become at least minimally active. Dead0man & Generic both post here occasionally without me urging them at all.

     There's only a small group of people that post on this board near daily. They are active in the politics of Atlasia, which should count for something.

     I would support vouchers to pay in full for low-income families, as well as vouchers to pay part of the tuition for middle-class families. Of course, they could only get vouchers to schools that taught government-approved curriculum.

     I tend to support private schools, though I am undecided on the fate of public schools.

     They would not directly receive government money under my plan. Rather, kids would be paid to go to them. It's an important difference.

     I tend to think that children from poor families should be able to get an education outside of the bureaucratic nightmare known as the public school system.

    Eh. The major distinction lies in that public schools are publically funded. If we give poor & middle-class children vouchers to go to private schools, the schools themselves are not receiving the money. As such, they legally remain separate.
