He's running on a platform of single-handedly reducing Virginia's amphetamine market.

I'd travel to VA just so I could get him beaten in the primary by someone, don't care who.

If they're going to run a Clinton hack, I'd prefer Carville to McAuliffe.

Carville isn't a Clinton hack.

Now now, I remember Philip pointing out that whoever wins the VA race for Gov is of the opposite party of the person who won the presidential election during the preceding year, so Obama's chances of victory just went up! Grin

He's a Democratic operative closely aligned with the Clintons. Good enough in my book. Wink

so closely aligned that he had nothing to do with the Hillary2008 campaign (which everyone presumed he would)

Yeah, he was more closely aligned with Bill Clinton. I thought I heard something about him having something to do with Hillary Clinton, though it seems I heard incorrectly.

I cannot stand him as he is, and I've only ever heard to man speak once, and of course that was on FOX News. If Terry McAuliffe somehow managed to win the Democratic Nomination for Governor of Virginia, the Democrats can kiss goodbye the Governorship. Totally bad idea.

Horrible idea. Hopefully he'd lose the primary. He's an awful man, and I hated him long before the Obama/Clinton fallout.
