Why not have it in Wisconsin....that would seem like it would make more sense to me anyways. But whatever...I don't think it'll do anything.

I don't think it will make any kind of difference.  Minnesotan children go back to school on Tuesday and it's labor day weekend.  People are either on vacation or getting ready to send the kids back to school.  They won't have time to watch the convention.

It also doesn't help that there are very few Minnesota Republicans to hype up the convention.

In the here and now it might change MN from Obama by between 6-10 to Obama by about 4, but it'll be irrelevant by election day.
