Hutchison on CNN: "I don't know too much about her, but maybe that's the good news."

OK, good thing she didn't get the nod.

Hutchinson is on TV right now talking about it. She clearly didn't know who this was until today.

No f'ing kidding. This is a much bigger coup than Harry calling MS-1 for Childers before the election. I am chastened.

You''ll be hearing that a lot, I think.

Congrats to jmfcst, that drunken bastard.

And if I may give myself a little prop as well, I am a little richer this morning:

12 pm.

I saw that interview from Hutchinson. There was about a 2 second pause of uncomfortable silence after it.

I don't feel so bad about Obama's pick now.

No he's not.  Maybe I am.  Sarah Palin is smokin' hot.

But McCain is thinking about beating Obama-Biden.  And while I will be working and voting for my party, I think we're toast.

I don't think McCain actually has intentions toward her. I think that she's appealing to him for a variety of reasons, and he thinks that she'll be appealing to Americans for the same reasons. Whether he's right or not, who can say.

Hahaha, what a horrible choice. Though it does unfortunately probably lock down Alaska's 3 EV for McCain. But still, wow. Major fail.

Oh, c'mon.

Yes, it's a little token.  She's a fairly pretty (although kinda old) lady.  Her sex probably has some to do with it.  But "thinking with his dick"?  America likes aesthetically pleasing, smart women.  Damn them, right?

This negativity is fantastic coming from you, J. If we were toast, we were toast on May 31. Nothing that has happened since then was wholly unpredictable.
