He probably shouldn't have talked about draining swamps in St. Paul, Minnesota.

Draining swamps is a touchy subject here, and there is nothing you can do that will get you into trouble with the law faster than f**king with wetlands.

Joe's quiet delivery is probably more effective than Fred's rock em, sock em, but Fred did do a nice resume enhancement for McCain, but folks know about McCain's resume, and Joe rather than Fred saying McCain is his own man, and not a partisan hack is more effective, to floater voters.
