McCain: 58%
Obama: 23%



But 53 percent believe Mitt Romney would have been the better choice, while 30 percent say Palin was.

When asked if the convection changed the way Utahns feel about Obama, 17 percent say they are now more in favor of him and 6 percent are less in favor. Seventy-two percent say the convention didn't make a difference.

I wish they'd ask this question only of voters who have a remote chance of swinging, since in Utah this question is a bit tainted by the patisan make-up.

Of course, that poll would have a margin of error of like +/-made up.

19% undecided + 7% MoE = hee.

Yeah, Mason-Dixon also interviewed just 400 LV two weeks ago.

I think the end result in UT will be something like:

McCain - 69%
Obama - 28%
Others - 3%
