No I wouldn't expect you to because it IS in the South...I can find lots of cites that back that claim up.  Unless we change the meaning of what "the South" is, Virginia, all of it...even NOVA, is in "the South".  That's the whole farking point of saying "cite"...well, most of the time.  Sometimes it's curiosity I guess.  It's like calling BS politely, but giving the person doing the BSing a chance to prove their BS.

"The South" is cultural, and as thus, cannot be cited. I emphatically believe that NoVA is not Southern.

Well sure, if you define it that way there are many places in "the South" that aren't southern culturaly.  I guess I was thinking in more of a geographical sense.
