Alaska = 4.46% Black
19% Native American
5% Asian.

There are almost 30,000 Black Alaskans that P Diddy just smeared.

By number, Alaska has more Blacks than: Utah, Vermont, Wyoming, South Dakota, North Dakota, New Hampshire, Montana, Maine, Idaho, & Hawaii.

By Percentages, Alaska has a higher population than: Arizona, Colorado, Hawaii, Idaho, Iowa, Minnesota, Montana, Nebraska, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Utah, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia and Wyoming.

Diddy is an idiot.   It's better to keep your mouth shut and be thought a fool than to open it and remove all doubt.  He really should stick to rapping.

This was actually something that did concern me.  I like governors because they have to deal with a large number of different groups; it's less so with a senator, because they can basically represent a constituency.  Governors have to deal with people administratively.  In a diverse state, they have to deal with groups, including different ethnic groups.  Alaska is roughly 25% non white, so Palin has some idea of how to deal across the color line.
