I don't need your forgiveness. I provided you with facts and you just stick your fingers in your ears and scream.

I see this has turned into the "lie about your IQ" thread.

JJ isn't lying at all. He probably is more qualified. Hell, he's written over 60 articles for a very well known publication (due to privacy I won't give out specifics) that I personally verified.

Actually, it was two separate scholarly journals.  And it was only 47 actual articles, three book reviews and the rest were letters to the editor.  That doesn't the textbook the appendixes to two reference book, a third book where I was a contributor.

An attorney in SC maintains an online index.

Well, I'll need proof. Which publication is it? Hell, I wrote a letter to the editor last year in the local paper and I am not bragging about it, though it was needed to deal with a little hack.

You would need my name, which I won't give.  I don't give States stuff out and he doesn't give mine.  GM3 knows who I am; we're in the same field.   GM3, who has also published, will tell you who is currently the most published living author in the field.  He'll tell you the same thing.  Chris and Phil know me.  I can ask Jsojourner, who I have a friendship with online to review it, or Modu.

I think Phil or Ice Hockey know my neighborhood and can attest to it being heavily black.  On the other thing, do you want the number of my ex?  Smiley

The 47 are NOT letters, but scholarly articles, and there are three book reviews.  One is published in full on a web site.

And I can pose tomorrow with my life plaque from Mensa while wearing my Intertel tee shirt?

She's a total lightweight.  She carries no advanced degrees.  She is a nightmare on the environment.  She has no foreign policy or international experience.  She's not qualified.  And she is a heartbeat away from the Presidency if they win, while McCain is 72 and a four-time cancer survivor.

I'm scared of this wacko, Fundy, separatist power abuser who preaches abstinence while her teenage daughter gets knocked up out of wedlock.  LAMENESS!

McCain shows how desperate he is with this move.

I bet Palin's IQ is like 115 and McCain's is like 125. Conversely, Biden's in like 125 or 130 and Obama's has to be in the 140s.

The idea that Obama's IQ is in the 140s shows the cult isn't dead yet. Politicians are not generally people with high IQs, I suspect. And a high IQ doesn't matter much to being a good politician anyway.

I took an IQ test when I was 12 and it was so off the charts that they had to make up a new scale just for me - which they nicknamed the Dzhugashvili scale. Mensa wasn't good enough for me so I founded a new society but we only have 6 members.

I've written 418 articles - I used to subedit a national newspaper. I won't tell you which, because that would be given out my name, but it's big. Worldwide big. And I've published 2 books and in the process of writing a third. I'm also the world's number one scholar in my field of 17th century Congolese tribes. I've got two awards on my wall to prove it.

And I used to be mayor of a small town. Nothing too big, but it does mean I have more executive experience than John McCain. Clearly I'm more qualified to be President. And my town was populated by more than 4 people and a cow, so I'm also more qualified than Sarah Palin. And my penis is huge. 13 inches if you're wondering. I've only done porn once though - I had to give it up to pursue my other careers.

Don't believe me? Ask my mates John, Tomas and Frederick - about everything but the penis part; we're not gay. You'll have to wait until the sign up though.

We can all make stuff up on the internet.

You're a complete retard JJ.

Or nearly anything else.  I'd assume Obama he has an above average IQ; same with Palin, Biden and McCain.

Not calling anyone a liar.

But I imagine that the smartest people on the internet don't post their IQs.

I'm also the world's number one scholar in my field of 17th century Congolese tribes.

You'd be hard-pressed to find a scholar of African History nowadays who uses the word 'tribe'. Tongue

Smiley

Iosif, they have an organization for people just like you, DENSA.

See the only intelligent choice, according to my car, is McCain.  Smiley

J. J. in 2008

Even is car is smarter than Obama!

(Actually this is a very good example of applied intelligence.)

Yes, it shows the absolute inanity of these claims that we should vote based on IQ, which frankly we don't know.

It also shows the bias on the part of some Democrats, Densocrats, that McCain supporters cannot possibly be as intelligent as Obama supporters.

Ok JJ, I'm not going to ask why MENSA gives out bumper stickers, or why you chose to put one on your car.

But I have to ask: Did you go out and take that picture this morning to prove yourself right on an internet thread, or did you have that picture saved on your computer just for such emergencies?

MENSA doesn't give them out.  They only sell them to members.  You need a membership number to order.

It being on my car is an example of what's known as "applied intelligence."

Yes, I went out this morning and took it.  Tongue

I've actually posted it to show the utter inanity of posters on this thread.  By their standards, I should be the next president.  I don't agree with those standards.

Can't say I'm too fond of Saintly Sarah myself either; essentially, because the mainstream media, and for that matter Democrats, can't even scrutinise, or criticise, her policy views and her record without being accused of "elitism" or "sexism"

Not only do I agree, I think she is the scarriest thing since W.  Anybody who would comment on Obama's primary wins as a moment when "Sambo beat the bitch" is not presidential material.

http://www.laprogressive.com/2008/09/05/alaskans-speak-in-a-frightened-whisper-palin-is-%e2%80%9cracist-sexist-vindictive-and-mean%e2%80%9d/

If she really said this, it will be dismissed as "misspeaking" and an honest mistake.

I really doubt she did say it, however.  One would think the rest of the media would be reporting it.  Not just a liberal blog.

I wouldn't put anything past Saintly Sarah. True or not, the mainstream media won't even go there. They'd only stand charged of "elitism" or "sexism", so what's the point?

This thread has been smoking something pretty hardcore; I don't even know how it managed to derail itself to this extent. Anyway, it's refreshing to see some constants, such as the usual personal attacks on people whose opinions one disagrees with, awesome Internet exaggerations, and so forth. I love the Internet.

Even if it were proven that she'd said these things, it would just be spun as proof of her authenticity and redneck cred.
