She's a total lightweight.  She carries no advanced degrees.  She is a nightmare on the environment.  She has no foreign policy or international experience.  She's not qualified.  And she is a heartbeat away from the Presidency if they win, while McCain is 72 and a four-time cancer survivor.

I'm scared of this wacko, Fundy, separatist power abuser who preaches abstinence while her teenage daughter gets knocked up out of wedlock.  LAMENESS!

McCain shows how desperate he is with this move.

I bet Palin's IQ is like 115 and McCain's is like 125. Conversely, Biden's in like 125 or 130 and Obama's has to be in the 140s.

And mine is 159 on some scales, so elect me president.

IQ's:

J. J. > Obama

The retard scales perhaps.

A post without a mention of the "sweet Sarah Palin"? Poor form...

No, Terman, though I doubt if you could comprehend the difference.

I also doubt if you could comprehend that we don't chose presidents by IQ (which is why I left Mensa off of some my campaign material).

My IQs is in the high 160s, by that logic FreedomBurns will vote for me.  I am honored

I know.  I'm winning the administrative, academic, IQ, battle against Obama.

I live in a blacker neighborhood too, had humbler origins.

J. J. in 2008!

He can correctly pronounce Nittany too!

...and you have a bigger dick than him too, right? .....yeah, you are smarter than Obama and have move experience than Palin and more exec experience than McCain.

I don't know, but I have been told I can do porn.

Seriously.

All those things are true.  I have published substantially more scholarly articles than Obama has.  One is on the Internet (several non scholarly articles are up).  I don't count the biographical article on Abd el-Kader, the 19th Century Algerian nationalist, as being scholarly, or in the field.

I also wrote a study guide and contributed to several reference books.  It's in my Who's Who bio.

BTW:  States, GM3, and possibly Bullmoose88, KeystonePhil, Soulty are aware of some of my publications.

As pointed a few years ago, I'm a member of both Mensa and Intertel (you'll probably have to check Wiki); those actually are not huge accomplishments, but they can look good on a resume.  I have held public office, at the local level, small towns in Western PA, three times, prior to my 30th birthday.

The thing is, in comparison with some of alleged qualifications Barack Obama, I come out a bit better.  I'm far from the best choice for president.

In regard to McCain, he ran a Naval Unit of 1000 men; I only helped run a school district with a staff of about 60.  Obama, well, as a community organize, he had a staff of 13.

In executive experience:

McCain >>> J. J. >>> Obama

Hell, the IDEA program took my IQ when I was a teenager. I got a nv of 120 a v of 140 and a comp of 133. Is that MENSA material?

It depends on what test they were using.  On some your would not be.  A comp of 133 would not on any test qualify someone for Intertel.  Here a test calculate link.  Mensa requires the 98th percentile, or 1 in 50.  I don't consider 1 in 50 particularly impressive.

I see this has turned into the "lie about your IQ" thread.

I could take a photo of my car with the McCain and Mensa bumper stickers on the back bumper?  Wink

I see this has turned into the "lie about your IQ" thread.

JJ isn't lying at all. He probably is more qualified. Hell, he's written over 60 articles for a very well known publication (due to privacy I won't give out specifics) that I personally verified.

Actually, it was two separate scholarly journals.  And it was only 47 actual articles, three book reviews and the rest were letters to the editor.  That doesn't the textbook the appendixes to two reference book, a third book where I was a contributor.

An attorney in SC maintains an online index.

Well, I'll need proof. Which publication is it? Hell, I wrote a letter to the editor last year in the local paper and I am not bragging about it, though it was needed to deal with a little hack.

You would need my name, which I won't give.  I don't give States stuff out and he doesn't give mine.  GM3 knows who I am; we're in the same field.   GM3, who has also published, will tell you who is currently the most published living author in the field.  He'll tell you the same thing.  Chris and Phil know me.  I can ask Jsojourner, who I have a friendship with online to review it, or Modu.

I think Phil or Ice Hockey know my neighborhood and can attest to it being heavily black.  On the other thing, do you want the number of my ex?  Smiley

The 47 are NOT letters, but scholarly articles, and there are three book reviews.  One is published in full on a web site.

And I can pose tomorrow with my life plaque from Mensa while wearing my Intertel tee shirt?

The idea that Obama's IQ is in the 140s shows the cult isn't dead yet. Politicians are not generally people with high IQs, I suspect. And a high IQ doesn't matter much to being a good politician anyway.

Or nearly anything else.  I'd assume Obama he has an above average IQ; same with Palin, Biden and McCain.

Iosif, they have an organization for people just like you, DENSA.

See the only intelligent choice, according to my car, is McCain.  Smiley

I took an IQ test when I was 12 and it was so off the charts that they had to make up a new scale just for me - which they nicknamed the Dzhugashvili scale. Mensa wasn't good enough for me so I founded a new society but we only have 6 members.

I've written 418 articles - I used to subedit a national newspaper. I won't tell you which, because that would be given out my name, but it's big. Worldwide big. And I've published 2 books and in the process of writing a third. I'm also the world's number one scholar in my field of 17th century Congolese tribes. I've got two awards on my wall to prove it.

And I used to be mayor of a small town. Nothing too big, but it does mean I have more executive experience than John McCain. Clearly I'm more qualified to be President. And my town was populated by more than 4 people and a cow, so I'm also more qualified than Sarah Palin. And my penis is huge. 13 inches if you're wondering. I've only done porn once though - I had to give it up to pursue my other careers.

Don't believe me? Ask my mates John, Tomas and Frederick - about everything but the penis part; we're not gay. You'll have to wait until the sign up though.

We can all make stuff up on the internet.

You're a complete retard JJ.

In other words, I really don't need to make stuff up.

Yes, it shows the absolute inanity of these claims that we should vote based on IQ, which frankly we don't know.

It also shows the bias on the part of some Democrats, Densocrats, that McCain supporters cannot possibly be as intelligent as Obama supporters.

Ok JJ, I'm not going to ask why MENSA gives out bumper stickers, or why you chose to put one on your car.

MENSA doesn't give them out.  They only sell them to members.  You need a membership number to order.

It being on my car is an example of what's known as "applied intelligence."

I've actually posted it to show the utter inanity of posters on this thread.  By their standards, I should be the next president.  I don't agree with those standards.

Why did I come back to this site???

What, an irrational hatred of late-model Dodges?  I have no idea what you're talking about!

(Run.  Run while you still can.)

It's a ten year old Dodge!  That is not "late-model!"  Wink

Mensa hasn't provided you with a replacement?

No, but I neither want or need one.  I can post a photo of me holding my Life Member plaque (name blocked out), and wearing my Intertel tee shirt, if you'd like?  Tongue

Suffice it to say, I am telling the truth.  Smiley

This thread has been smoking something pretty hardcore; I don't even know how it managed to derail itself to this extent. Anyway, it's refreshing to see some constants, such as the usual personal attacks on people whose opinions one disagrees with, awesome Internet exaggerations, and so forth. I love the Internet.

No exaggerations on my part; I tend to downplay most of my stuff.  I think both Ice Hockey and Phil can verify my location and note that my neighborhood is heavily African American.

I wonder what was the IQ of the canny car salesman that saddled poor J.J. with that dumb car.

Runs great; I got it cheaper than asking price (and than what most people have said about paying for the car).  I only drive 3,500 miles a year.

Paid cash, BTW.

I kinda like Avengers...but not I like my Fusion more...even more than the neo-Avengers.

Due to my back condition, my major question is, how does it feel to sit in it.  I've actually had problems driving some rentals due to the seats.

BTW: Sufficient to verify, or do you want me in my Intertel tee shirt.  Wink

THANK YOU!  At least McCain should have went with Olympia Snowe.  This pick was just plain horrible.

No executive/administrative experience; no appeal in the West.

And Palin is no lightweight, politically.  She wouldn't have been my recommendation, but, frankly, she could turn out better than my recommendation.

If you want to know who JJ is, just start searching the databases for 10-year-old Dodge Avengers registered in Pennsylvania, license plate beginnng with "GW".

Wink

Or, you could try the Phone Book.  Any idiot can figure out who I am, with the right database.  And Driedapples can just ask his parents.  Smiley

Fair enough.  I am something of a buff of very cheap cars - I love old cheap reliable things, am a miser, and love a good deal - and I my research has given me a very negative view about Dodge's reliability.  Maybe yours is one of the rare OK models.

Plus, I only drive about 3,500 miles a year.

The only reason I made that comment was, you actually went through the trouble of covering up your license plate, as if you were worried someone might use that information to track you down......but, you failed to cover it entirely.

Just enough to hide it.  Actually, if you know anyone that in the Penn State Alumni Association, you can narrow it down to two in about three minutes.

I'd say what my IQ is, but I don't think that arguing about one's IQ on the Internet really shows one's intelligence.

No, but providing evidence of the claim is.

I just don't think it is incredibly relevant, but a few Democratic posters do.

Sara Palin belngs to a church where she has been known to speak in tounges.

Therefore if you are supporting this ticket, you are supporting a woman for vice presitent who (if true) is mentally ill.   Period!!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking in tongues in known in other denominations, including the Catholic Church (and my own Episcopal Church).  It doesn't disqualify her from being "vice presitent."

And considering Obama's 20 year affiliation with Pastor Wright, it might not be a good idea to mention churches.

I can understand speaking in toungues...maybe... but I have reasons to doubt that she even believes in free will or rationality. Maybe IQ isn't normally important, but Palin is an individual of questionable qualities, no matter how you look at it.

She's not Calvinist so I don't see free will being involved.

You seem to reading a great deal into some one being Christian, which Obama claims as well.
