A couple polls taken from the Hotline I haven't seen posted here yet:

Iowa

     A Moore Information (R) poll; conducted 9/7-8 for their own comsumption; surveyed 500 regis. voters; margin of error +/- 4.0% (release, 9/9).Note: Whenever available, we will compare a poll's party ID breakdown with the state's party ID breakdown from the 2000 exit poll. For this poll, the likely voter sample was made up of 35%R, 34%D, 31%I/Other; In '00, VNS broke the electorate down 29%R, 32%D, 38%I/Other.

General Election Matchup
Bush         51%
Kerry        42
Nader         2
Udec/Oth    5


Ohio

    A Garin Strategic Research (D) poll; conducted 9/6-8 for the DNC; surveyed 602 likely voters; margin of error +/- 4.0% (Hotline sources). * denotes less than .05%. Note: Whenever available, we will compare a poll's party ID breakdown with the state's party ID breakdown from the 2000 exit poll. For this poll, the likely voter sample was made up of 41%R, 41%D, 18%I/Other; In '00, the state's electorate broke down 37%R, 38%D, 26%I/Other.

Bush that high in Iowa seems doubtful.  I would believe it more if they said Kerry up 9 in Iowa, and Bush up 1 in Ohio.

State polls just suck in general.

I really like the work Strategic Vision has done this cycle. I'll be very interested to see how their final numbers compare to the election results.
