InsiderAdvantage/Poll Position: McCain, Obama Tied Nationally

It sounds like we're going to be able to add another national tracking poll to the pile.  InsiderAdvantage released a benchmark poll that they claim "marks the beginning of daily tracking which will continue through the election":

McCain    46%
Obama    46%
Other        2%
Undecided 6%

It was a 807 likely voters, conducted yesterday, 9/8.  The margin of error is +/- 3.36.

Be careful what you wish for.  You just might get it.

As for me posting this poll, it is what it is.   Take it for what it's worth.

I welcome the news, and although IA is a bit more Democratic than other polls in state-polling, we can compare their bias every day to Rasmussen and Gallup - meaning we'll have maybe a 25% better idea of where the race stands every day by averaging IA-bias with the other two trackers.
