If the numbers in those polls were borne out, Obama would have a very large lead in Colorado and (I think...) New Mexico as well as something of a lead in Nevada (and Florida would be a tie, obviously, as Obama and McCain are tied among Hispanics and non-Hispanics there). Of course, the fact that they're all about the Hispanic subsamples makes them a bit odd, and the polls were conducted for a Democratic organization.

This poll is very old and some numbers are really weird. There`s no way Obama is tied with McCain among Whites in Florida and leads among Colorado Whites . Otherwise good Hispanic numbers for him in Nevada and New Mexico.

Yeah, the GOP really hurt itself with this voting bloc in the last 2 years. Also, I have a feeling this is a demographic with which the Palin pick didn't go over too well. She's from a state with very few Latinos, and I really can't see Latinos connecting with all the hockey, moose, and caribou stuff.
