NM is a bit scary. Phil and duke stfu about ND. Who has suggested obama had a good chance of winning it? And considering Mccain's bounce and the solidification of the republican base, these numbers seem about right.

Alaska - Expected thanks to Palin. Now McCain will easily clear 60% here
ND - Welcome back to irrelevancy
New Mexico - Disheartening. If we lose Ohio, NM is must-have along with Iowa and Colorado.

why are they polling AK?

NM is interesting, but the shift in ND makes me want to see Minn and Wisc polled by a couple of firms.

Do you really want me to bump the thread in which eight forum members said that it is a toss up state?

competitive Senate race, mostly.

Ras makes some of its billing on polling states no other major firms do, too.  it's part of his allure.

It must have been one of those anonymous polls where anyone can vote how they like.

Wait...what does that matter if it's from months ago or not? You asked if anyone was saying that Obama has a chance. They did. Now you have proof against your belief and you want to put a time limit on it? Nice try.

Please do. I hope it isn't from months ago.

...

Those polls are always like that. What does that have to do with anything?

A few months ago polls were about tied in ND so people said it was a possible tossup. Now they are not so I hope nobody is still saying it is one. That's the fun of predictions phil, hoping that something incredible happens. When Obama supporters saw polls that were close in a state like North dakota, they were obviously more than a little happy. You would be the same if you saw a poll with NY or CA tied.

If you're going to cite people for holding an extreme opinion, it should be someone identifiable. Not when we have Walter Mitty and others who can say OMGZ SAFE OBAMA!! whenever something like that comes up.

the last time we had a "battleground state" thread, 2 of the dozens of respondents listed ND as one of the battlegrounds.  Neither was an "Obama hack". One was a Republican and the other was Gustaf, who is definitely not a big time Obama guy, if I remember correctly.

curious to see the thread you're discussing, phil.

Wow. What an absolutely sad excuse.

I guess I can back up all of my wrong predictions with "Well, that's the fun of predictions - hoping that it happens!" That's not a prediction.

I would not act the same way with NY or CA because I know we have about a 5% chance in those states. Don't tell me what I'd do. Hell, I've been dismissing the idea of McCain taking New Hampshire.

All eight votes weren't Walter.

Well can we see that thread or what? And even if you wouldn't have said NY or CA were a tossup, guess what 8 other people would have.

curious to see the thread you're discussing, phil.

Eight votes saying that it is a toss up state.

Before someone tells me that there are over forty votes saying that it is not a swing state, that doesn't mean that the eight votes are irrelevant.

So what are you refuting here? BRTD said it wasn't a swing state so the other eight votes don't count?

How the hell is this significant? One Obama supporter said in the whole thread that it was a tosup. One. 6 pages of discussion and just one said tossup. And as for those 8 I am sure 2 of those are Duke and Walter. There are probably some other jokers around too. About 84% said no. Like I said you are f'in delusional.
