They have their polls up for MS and ME, NC should be up with-in the hour. Could someone add them to the President and Senate polling database.

Sam Spade has been pretty clear from the start that he does not want these polls in the polling database.

He's the boss... Wink

I don't see anything too shocking about the ones just posted.

Actually, I'm ok with them in the database.  I just want them noted that they are done for Daily Kos, that's all.  And I'm really not the be-all, end-all on this forum, that's for sure.  Smiley

Just generally, we need to keep in mind that R2000 is an ok polling company, which has a structural Democratic lean of a couple of points historically.  Kind of like SV in reverse (with the exception of FL and GA, where I think SV is pretty good).

I posted the results in the Congressional Forum, but don't have access to add polls.

FWIW, the Presidential polling has Obama leading in Maine, 52 to 38, while McCain leads in Mississippi 52 to 39. No surprises.

I personally think Research2000 was a poor choice for DailyKos as a polling firm.

The lead pollster at Research 2000 is a fellow named Del Ali who has a very substantial pedigree as a democratic pollster.

Secondly, Research2000 historically over many years has a slight pull of maybe 2 or 3 % to the Democratic side. - Not wretched by any means but enough in a close race to look  like you are a bit biased - Think Strategic Vision (R) just going the other way.

If he had reals balls he would have hired Public Opinion Strategies (R) - Then there would have been no carping about potential bias.

Given DailyKos' political leanings, it think optically this was a bad choice.
