Harkin leads Reed Democrat Tom Harkin leads Republican Christopher Reed in the race for Iowa's U.S. Senate seat on the November ballot, according to the new Iowa Poll.



Harkin, a four-term incumbent, had the support of 53 percent of likely Iowa voters, while Reed, a Marion businessman, had the support of 34 percent. Thirteen percent were not sure.
