I got my actual PC back (the thing with Vista on it that broke in August, even though we bought it in March). It was supposed to be gone for a week, but then they replaced my ed up HD with a defective HD and then broke the front panel and got another new HD, but the recovery disks didn't boot and so forth.

So now I have to do the updates, install 600 stuff, and cry over all my lost data.

I've reinstalled most/all of the stuff, with few problems. MS Office had a fatal error, but I told him to shove it, and now it works.

Oh, and I had forgotten how slow Vista is. Jesus Christ.

I've never tried doing that to make Office work. Hmm.
