You're the disgusting one.

Your signature says a lot about you.

If you don't remove it I will have it removed for you.

Sarcasm?

Not sure what about Lief's signature has so aroused your ire.... chill pill dude Wink

A profanity in the pic is quite worth being irate about.  I was willing to give Lief the benefit of doubt yesterday that the pic had been changed from what it was when he put the url for it in in his sig, but I'd have thought he'd have noticed it by now.

No - Winfield has very 'strong' views on profanity, among other things.

Not to hijack the thread, but I wasn't aware that there are rules against having profanity in signatures. I've seen people do it before.

I had profanity in my sig once before.  Dave told me to take it off (after much complaining from the likes of Inks.LWC) and I did.

Destined to backfire.  Democrats need to stop focusing on Palin ASAP.  Also, I doubt swing voters would have a problem with the practice described in the ad.  They're more easily convinced by proposals like offshore drilling or keeping the Bush tax cuts which don't help them in the first place.

Exactly, it's the economy, stupid. The Obama campaign is obviously doing something seriously wrong if only 15% of Americans say that he will cut their taxes.

Interestingly, MediaCurves says that this ad is the most effective of the season so far:

http://mediacurves.com/Politics/J7011-Anit-PalinAd-WildlifeRecord/

Small sample size, but it did reach statistical significance in hurting McCain, which few ads do.

This ad actually would be relatively effective if:

1-It was targeted properly demographically.
2-Palin was at the top of the ticket.

1 might be happening. However, 2 isn't.

In my opinion, it shows how much "out of touch" Palin is.
How many of us have ever hunted a wolf? Or been shooting a Moose?

Seriously, what does a German know about hunting the the United States? Anyone who thinks hunters are out of touch are either willfully ignorant or naive. I know PLENTY of people who go deer/boar/alligator hunting. And I even know people here who go to Alaska and out west hunting moose. I know plenty of people here who shoot coyote (a nuisance animal).

Thank you Governor Lief for changing your signature.

My respect for you just went to the top of the charts.

A lot of people I know who are fairly weak Obama supporters would sign up to campaign for him after seeing this ad. That's all I'm gong to say for now.
