Pretty much the same as icing on the cake.  Only if you lost, what would be the least painful way?

To me would be that young people show up in record numbers.  We win OH, but lose PA or WI (unlikely).  Lose by about 2% nationally, and exit polls indicate everyone voted on partisan lines, but McCain carries independents, indicating that race was not a major factor. The next day there is no whining, no riots, and life goes on.
