Married. They're ok now and have been for a number of years, but I don't know how the hell they're still married.

They first met less than a month before they married, and they've never had anything stronger than a passionate disagreement. Which is why I find the idea of marrying for love a bit silly, especially seeing the divorce rate.

Yes.

do you plan on having your wife picked for you?

I don't plan on getting married.

I wouldn't mind getting my marriage arranged... It would make my job a good deal easier.

Mom and Dad married in 1945.  He was 31 and she was 18.  Dad died just before Thanksgiving of last year, so they made it to their 62 anniversary.  He was a great husband to her.  Sometimes too good.  But what I admire most is that he never even looked at another woman.  He was completely devoted.  I've never cheated on my Missus, but I've been tempted.
