I understand his reasoning (at least in Canada)....but it's still incredible that someone with his moderate positions can support green parties internationally.

Only in Canada and the Czech Republic really. Maybe Germany. But really no other countries.

Hard to say...The issues Jas mostly talks about are ones that I'm not really qualified to declare his positions surprising on.  (That is one ugly sentence.  It even ends in a preposition.  Bad Mikado.)

Jas talked me into watching all of Father Ted, and I was surprised to find out that I had been missing out on one of the most genius television shows ever made.

Cop-out answer?  Perhaps.

Al has a conscience about what is evil that I respect and agree with. He is a man of the Left whom I deeply respect. His strong statements about Jew hatred were a bit of a surprise but gave me a warm glow. Al does not post a lot about policy so that is the best I can do. Cheerio.
