Biden would seem to have the advantage, unless he does/says something foolish...which there is at least a decent chance of occurring.

Everyone expects Palin to perform worse than Dan Quayle,  If she beats expectations, she wins.

It will be like Gore-Bush and Kerry-Bush.  Any of the debates.

Biden will actually win on content and substance.

Palin will be perceived as having won because people would want to have a beer with her. 



Bingo.  So long as there isn't a Dan Quayle moment, it's at least a tie.

I agree and all these crappy interviews make it seem like Biden OUGHT to destroy her.  When he doesn't, it's a win for Palin.

To paraphase Londo Molari, Reality has nothing to do with politics.

Palin handily beat expectations.  I think at points, she connected with the public.  She won.
