I really hope we can get a third party candidate the next time around. It would make things more interesting.
Don't give Migrendel any ideas.

Anyone who wants to have 6 month terms....1 term limit...you should DEFEND your opinion. I stated clearly why I think it would be BEST to have 4 month terms..with light term limit rules. Why do people think 6 terms is a good idea? Because you want to have 2 elections per year?

I'm starting to like the 4 month term rule.

It's fun. We're a bunch of election and political junkies, we need humor and entertainment to sustain ourselves.

Hey  well if you guys want to do this every 4 months thats perfectly fine with me. Plus it would be good to have one election during the summer so people who have school can run with out worrying.

I support Demrep on this...4 moth terms seem good to me, and NO term limits...even though it would gurantee everyone to be president sooner or later... Smiley

The election isn't over.....I may NOT be VP.....but....I also call for a Constitutional Convention in the spring. I call that several members draft how they would want the constitution to be....and then the Senate (all members vote by poll) agree on which one is best.

yeah
with one extra, we don't have to vote on a whole draft. we can accept a para from one draft etc. and should decide what majority we need to adopt the cinstitution

I'm going to start a thread, creating 12 senate positions, 6 gubernatorial positions, and obviously POTAF and VPOTAF.

that's 20 positions for maybe 25 people, a very fair ratio.

good idea. It wouldn't be good to accept one draft. We should use different portions of different drafts and use the ones that work best...and we all agree upon.
