Where's BRTD?

I have a feeling he'll sluff it off or say something about every candidate Walter supports loses.

brtd should keep in mind that 2 out of 3 of my presidential preferences thus far have won.

Reading comments others have made in the "world's going to end in December 2012" thread, apparently that means you're due to get one wrong... (although I sincerely hope not).

Well I can't say I agree, but it's definitely the logical choice given your views.

I wasn't expecting you to vote for McCain. At least, I would have guessed you'd vote Third Party.

That's a wise choice.

I do wonder, though, if you're just fed up with the sane people on this forum that have picked on you for trolling every chance you get.

I actually did expect you to come around, seeing as you support democratic positions mostly, not counting foreign policy. It's kind of a shame even.

Anyway, I'm not too surprised.

in general, i do find obama supporters to be obnoxious, idealists and shallow.  and ive never much cared for people who blindly follow the in-crowd.  ive certainly never subscribed to groupthink and stupid self motivational slogans.

the real kicker for me was the way sarah palin was treated.  yes, im convinced that team obama was connected to all of those disgusting hateful lies.

how can i vote for a person for president whose campaign was likely behind accusing a woman of faking a pregnancy?

keep in mind, the same campaign will pout and cry if you so much as mention obama's middle name or criticize him voting 'present' a ridiculous number of times in the state legislature.  that is below the belt.  but accusing a woman of faking a pregnancy and advocating secession is a perfectly legitimate campaign act?

Don't think it really matters who WalterMitty votes for; it's more along the lines of whom he predicts to win.

A good rule of thumb is anyone Walter really really hates wins.

Examples: Bob Casey, Eliot Spitzer, Ted Strickland

Anytime you hang out in a group that favors one candidate and is unrepresentative of the population as a whole, the rhetoric of many of the members of the majority will escalate.

Spending your time on this forum or in the state of MA means you're going to encounter a lot more shallow Obama supporters and intelligent McCain supporters, than, say, if you went down to Mississippi or Utah.  Remember where you are before you extrapolate dawg.

The irony is - I always expected Lunar to break for McCain in the end, and Walter to break for Obama.

oh noes, obama should drop out immediately

It was pretty obvious WalterMitty was going to vote McCain eventually anyway.
