He was running these ads before he announced that he was going to debate after all. McCain is very erractic, lying, and political.

lowering expectations is a perfectly normal part of the spin cycle. Declaring you've already won a debate that hasn't even happened yet...isn't.

I find it a little funny that anybody who's spent months attacking Obama and his supporters for hubris would defend this with a straight face.
