At least he's not downplaying his performance ahead of the debate like Obama's doing.

How is downplaying your performance worse than saying you won a debate that hasn't happened?

Confidence that he will vs. confidence that he won't.  I know which I'd choose. Wink

Or rather; 'I'm having what McCain's having.' Had it been the other way around the one 'you'd choose' would be the opposite. Any reasonable person wouldn't buy this crap from either camp.
