Yeah, real bipartisan to take an opponents compliments and use them against him.  Just mean...geez.

This is just a bad ad. If they're trying to make Obama look unready, they should have used his humming and hawing, not his agreement with McCain. If they wanted to show him as a lightweight, they should have made the ad lighthearted (think back to Joe Biden's ad during the primaries with the happy music and all the Dems saying 'Joe is right'). The punchline doesn't follow the joke here; sloppy work.

Yeah, the candidates don't have to disagree on every issue.

Sigh.

Barack Obama tried to be nice and feed the stray dog and all it did was try and bite him.

What a piece of $hit.  I can't believe I voted for this jerk in 2000.  Particularly on the point about corporate taxes, Obama was disagreeing with McCain.  Taking these tiny clips out of context is pathetic.

A reader writes that Obama's new, one-minute ad ran immediately following the debate on all three networks in the Washington D..C. and Northern Virginia market.

That's an effective way for Obama to move back in the direction he wants.

Clever.

The people upset are Obama supporters. What a surprise.

The key isn't the debate; it's the bailout by Monday.
