Obama understands that there is a failed Senator in Arizona.

Obama couldn't hold a light to McCain's Senate career and what he's done.

This thread is the most hackish I've seen in a long time. Old ghostmonkey is leading the way, I see.

Oh, god. This is the most boring debate I've watched since I started following Canadian and American politics in around 2002. No one is winning. No one is losing. No one is even close to getting "nailed". They're just saying boring talking points without hitting hard at each other. The first Bush-Kerry debate was far more interesting. 0_o

I'm almost tempted to watch the old 2006 West Wing debate, at least that was somewhat amusing.

So far this debate is exactly what I expected. Neither of them are great, neither of them are awful.

Probably a narrow Obama win.

Yeah, that was a little rough. (You meesed his name up too dude.)

And Obama pwned him on the fact that he's not the real leader of Iran anyway.

I think McCain hit Obama hard on legitimizing with Ahmadinejad.

Obama is clarifying it. "Until you agree to doing what we say, we won't have direct contact with you."

And finally, someone points out that Ahmadinejad is not the most powerful person in Iran. Thank you Obama.

Look at the difference between Mccain talking about the economy  and talking about national security.  Mccain loves talking about national security when he was talking about the economy he seemed way less interested

Obama brings up his willingness to talk to the Iran Islamo-fascist leadership. Dumb move. McCain ran with it and pummeled the Community Organizer.

Obama totally owned Mccain on Ahmadinejad. Ahmadinajed is just a puppet of the ayotollah. And again MCcain laughed like a smug bastard. You were wrong dumbass.

The economy is irrelevant to McCain. His wife is extremely rich no matter what happens.

[Interesting side note, this WilliamWallace seems very much like another WilliamWallace I've encountered on the internets...quite a long time ago...funny, he was an R-PA too...I think one or two Atlas posters might know who I'm talking about...but then again, might just be a coincidence.]
