Clearly McCain is such a superior debater that he has already won the debate.

McCain is claiming he's anti wasteful-spending. How's that trillion dollars in Iraq working?
Also, he attacked Obama for earmarks? Yeah, Palin never got any of those.

So you're anti-corruption now, McCain? How are those $25,000 in gifts that Palin has recieved in the last 20 months working out for her?

Now Bambi is interrupting McCain's time. He's not allowed to do that. He's clearly rattled.

It seems like to me that McCain has been speaking more than Obama, but that's probably just because McCain's lies make time slow down in suckiness.

I like the "hands off" approach the moderator's taking. You find out more about how where the candidates stand on the varying issues, I think.

More like McCain just avoids issues he doesn't want to talk about, like health care. This format suits a blathering media-whore like McCain.

McCain likes to focus on the irrelevant. He talks millions. Obama talks billions.

McCain is controlling the debate. Obama is reacting, badly.

I've never seen Obama this much on the defensive.

Well, he already won the debate yesterday.

The spending freeze is the stupidest idea I have heard in a while. Excellent response by Obama.

This is McCain we're talking about. His plan to "fix" the financials by deregulating them was even stupider.

The word maverick needs to be banned; it's lost all of its original meaning.

Only correction I'd make is that McCain is still wrong.

Look at the difference between Mccain talking about the economy  and talking about national security.  Mccain loves talking about national security when he was talking about the economy he seemed way less interested

The economy is irrelevant to McCain. His wife is extremely rich no matter what happens.

McCain doesn't want to meet with the President of Iran, because then there would be TWO lunatics in the room.

McCain is crazy negative and lying. Amazing that George W Bush ran an honest campaign in comparison.

Why doesn't Mccain let Obama talk. Smug asshole.

Because the lies are much stronger if the truth doesn't get in.

More very general and mocking than anything else. He just laughs and dismisses everything.

Exactly... Obama has had a lot more specifics... and McCain has been very mocking and almost sarcastic at some points.

Obama has been much more comfortable and more positive.. and a LOT mroe respectful.

McCain's continuing battle with the facts has taken a toll, he's forced to go erratic.
