Okay, I just found out that the vice presidential debate begins at the same time that Reel Big Fish performs at the Tulane homecoming concert. Prior to learning this, I was very enthusiastic about both. If you were in my position, which would you do?

Honestly, I don't see how this is even a question. I have to work during EVERY debate and I don't care at all. iTunes is carrying free podcasts of them with perfect quality. I haven't even watched the Obama/McCain one yet, though I'll certainly get around to it tomorrow.

The debates will be online.

I'll probably watch the US debate on the second because my mother is more interested by the US election than the election 'round these parts. I'll get the Canadian debate online, if it's worth watching (I'll watch the French one though).

And I've heard the same about your school.  Actually, I've looked into transferring there (or something) for a semester to take advantage of their Cuban and Caribbean Studies program.

Yes, New Orleans has to be the best city to go to college in ever. If you do end up transferring, drop me a line!
