Consider the following questions:

Do you frequently use terms like 'socialist' or 'facist' to describe your political opponents?
Do you believe the other side 'hates' America or American ideals, rather than just disagreeing as to what the best course of action is?
Do you believe that members of the opposition party should be rounded up and shot (or at least imprisoned)?
Do you tend to foam at the mouth?

If you answered any of the first three yes, you might want to carefully consider if you really are living in your own little world.
If you answered more than two of the first three yes, you should probably consider professional counsling.
If you answered the first three all yes, you might consider shopping for a jacket with the sleeves in the back.

If you answered the fourth one yes, seek immediate medical attention.

Yes to the first, but only when they actually are socialists. Liberals don't generally advocate the same level of social services socialists do.

I am quite partisan, but I would answer no to all of these.

Well, you're also intelligent, rather than the types who think that a good argument is, "CONSERVATIVES ARE EVIL FASCIST JERKS THAT HATE AMERICA I HATE CONSERVATIVES THEY SHOULD BE KILLED"

As for me, I usually try to be as nonpartisan as I can but I probably fail on at least some occasions.

No to alll questions.  Especially considering the fact that the person I have been dating for over two years is a member of the opposition party...no, I don't want them all rounded up and shot.

A facist is somebody who judges people by their face? I used to call institutions, policies etc fascistic pretty easily when I was younger, not people though. I don't nowadays.

Who is the other side. Islamists have an image of what America is that they do hate (and if America were like that image they'd have half a point. Well a tenth of a point. It's not though) Otherwise, no.

The crooks who run Hessen's CDU should be imprisoned. But not because they're members of the CDU.

I've said before that republicrats are terrorists that need to be kept away from our beautiful country.

Does that count?

Do you frequently use terms like 'socialist' or 'facist' to describe your political opponents?

Yes.  Given my ideology, I often use both Smiley

Do you believe the other side 'hates' America or American ideals, rather than just disagreeing as to what the best course of action is?

Yes.

Do you believe that members of the opposition party should be rounded up and shot (or at least imprisoned)?

Well I can't say I haven't had nice thoughts about that Smiley

Do you tend to foam at the mouth?

No, but I did start to feel quite ill when they called Florida for Gore on the 2000 election night.

You really think I should get this foam thing checked out? ~wipes chin~ It's been going on for a few days now, I thought it was a normal side-effect of joining this forum...
