I'd say close to 375, but yeah, in that area.

The first candidate to come up with a solid plan that he can explain in relatively simple terms wins.

Yeah, I doubt that McCain has much of a chance now.

I want to see how Tuesday night goes before I stick a fork in John. He does best when he's counted out, and I am sure he has some more tricks up his sleeve before November.

So in other words, you're predicting a tie in the electoral college. Wink

Well, we are screwed then.  Obama's plan is simple... "Hope."

In all seriousness, though, I think this thing is pretty well over.  McCain has lost too much credibility all around to recover, at this point.  On the bright side, 4 years of Obama will probably leave the country starving for anyone else.

This is great, if the economy does a downturn then Obama wins.  If the economy recovers, then I'll have a job!  It's win-win Tongue

I'm thinking about the EV map, I'll show up with a 1 am thread about my thoughts soon...

As of right now, yes.  But this election isn't over until November 4.  Too many strange things have happened on the road to October 4 to count anything out from happening in a month.

Giuliani was going to be the Republican nominee, then Romney, then maybe Huckabee then finally McCain.  Clinton was going to be the Democrat nominee, then Obama, then Clinton, then finally Obama - maybe, then he faded down the stretch and Clinton might have had a chance again, but she didn't.  Obama was up in the polls, then tied, then up big after the Democrat convention, then McCain was up slightly after the Republican convention, now Obama is up again.

It's not over until it's over.

To be fair, I don't think anyone on the forum objectively/credibly claimed Huck or Rudy were "going to be the nominee."  Romney did give way to McCain and Hillary for Obama, but over like four months.
