I guess I had a reaction to what I ate tonight. The sad thing is that I get the same meal from the same place all the time.

love cantaloupe; when I was little, it was my favorite food, and I had it year round. During the summer I could hardly go a week without a bunch of cantaloupe. And then this year, during grad party season, I suddenly discover that I've become allergic to watermelon and cantaloupe
It sucks
but you get used to it eventually. Mine are mild enough that if I'm eating something at the same time the symptoms are weak enough that I can suffer through some mild discomfort for the deliciousness of cantaloupe... but that doesn't mean I don't try to ignore it if possible.
Sorry to hear you had to go to the ER, though, especially at such a time. Good luck with any future doctors' appointments
