Most likely political events of the next ten years:

419,625,415. George W. Bush revealed to be a transsexual
419,625,416. Al Franken elected President
419,625,417. Jesse Helms returns from the grave to engage illegal Mexican aliens in hand-to-hand combat

My list is outdated. It has that event all the way up at number 383,021,075. Sad

I'm not even sure he's going to become a senator. I think Coleman would be finished if the Democrats had nominated a Democratic Congressman instead of Franken...

The worst part is that I'm not freaking kidding.  If I had a choice between a President Franken or God taking my life away, I would choose the latter.

Actually I think the Jesse Helms thing is pretty likely, I know I'd pay to see it.

No. If he cannot defeat Norm Coleman for a Senate seat, which seems very likely at this point, then Franken ain't going to become President of the United States. And I once believed that he could knock off Coleman. How wrong was I?

As much as I'd love to see it, I think I'd have a better shot at winning the 2028 election than Franken does of ever getting elected president. It would certainly make my century if it were to happen though.

You never know.

Win a senate race, serve a term or two, run for president, kill all of the rest of the candidates, easy as pie

Won't happen, because I would send my whole paycheck to the person opposing Franken.  It would call for drastic measures...

I'd vote for Santorum over Franken.  Rick only has the political positions of a fool, he isn't a complete one like Franken.

Yeah?  I'd probably vote for Mickey Mouse over Franken.

Not that wrong, Coleman is pretty terrible and it is Minnesota. I'm still rooting for him if only because of who the incumbent is. But yeah, President Franken is about as likely as President Coulter or President Dobbs.

I'd have 4 terms of Obama before I'd prefer that.
