I think these ads are very revealing about home-stretch messaging.

Obama's ad:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rc46IeJp-_w&eurl
Key words:
"McCain out of ideas, out of touch, out of time"
"wants to tear Obama down"
"smears" "false"
"Admits election is about economy"
"Change of subject"

McCain's ad:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kIlUaKIB07E&eurl
"Who is Barack Obama?"
"Hypocritical"
"False"
"Misleading"
"Not true"
"He promised better, he lied"

I love this new atmosphere of positive politics that these two wonderful candidates have brought with them!

I love the faux emotional outrage in the McCain ad...

I think the style of the Obama ad is very effective... the way the narrator almost seems to reflect the emotions of the music is really good.   It's also good because he doesn't have that fake outrage that the Republicans always seem to have... the guy just sounds tired of McCain.

I do remember when this was initially shaping up to be a positive campaign Sad

About time.  There's nothing wrong with negative advertising.   It helps define your opponent.  And it works.

I obviously have a dog in this race, but I think Obama's ad is pretty good.  I like the tone, the background music, and the fact that it stays on the economy theme.  Out of ideas, out of touch, out of time... pretty catchy.

I love how in the Mccain ad he is so outraged about obama lying but basically the whole
thyme of the Mccain campaign, is that obama is best friend's with a terrorist  and voted for
sex education for kindergartner's. also I remember obama talking about a new kind of politics
his new brand of politics  seems to be exactly like the old.

both of these campaigns are going to completely stretch the truth and even out right lie to the American people in order to get elected.
