Wouldn't that pairing be unconstitutional (they're both from Virginia).

Wouldn't that pairing be unconstitutional (they're both from Virginia).

In any case, I'd vote for Washington/Adams.

     As I recall, it would only be unconsitutional for Virginia's electors to vote for them. Any other state would be free to do so.
