I used to follow Leicester City when Martin O'Neill was in charge, but I lost interest when he left.

I dont really follow football that much anymore (although I get a weekly update on Chelsea's progress from my 14yr old brother), I'm more a Formula1 man myself.

Following Millwall is not recommended for non-football hooligan types Wink

I love American football. I like soccer (European football) even more.

As great as the Super Bowl is, it doesn't top the World Cup. Smiley

There are three quaint old corners of the world that haven't quite caught on yet.
-The US and Canada
-The Indian subcontinent (the biggest exception)
-Australia and the Pacific
Apart from that, Football rules supreme.

Indeed it does...
Down here it's Cricket
and then nothing
and then a bit more of nothing
Then Hockey (real hockey, not its icy bastard son)
then a bit more of nothing
and then a number of other sports, such as Football, Kabedi and Badminton.

Ah yes, Kabedi (spelling?) has never caught on outside India and some SouthEastAsian countries.
No professional league exists yet, but national teams do. It's part of the Asian Games, in fact. Up to now, India has won the Gold Medal every time.
It's quite rough and quite a lot of fun to play. Plus, you don't need any equipment (no ball, no nothing, just some lines on the ground) and not that much space.
Basically you have two teams (of seven players according to the rules, but I've seen it played with three or four). Alternatively, one player from one side goes over and tries to touch (or be touched by) at least one opposing player and return to his half of the ground. He has to mutter "Kabedi" all through. The others of course try to wrestle him to the ground...which is dangerous because if he makes it back to his side anyways they're all out.
