Actually a 1-point gain for McCain compared with their last poll in Mid-September.

Based on that trend, therefore, we can expect to put California in McCain's column in approximately March 2010.

Why doesn't he poll Prop 8? I don't trust either of the recent polls which both have impossible cross tabs.

Why are they still polling places like CA?  They really should just move all their resources to NV, CO, VA, NC, FL, MO, OH, IN, PA, and NH.

Yeah, and if you're going to poll California, at least poll the propositions - namely 8. Makes almost as little sense as the McCain campaign sending Palin to Philadelphia.

one of Rasmussen's trademarks is that he polls everywhere, and at a pretty cheap price with the bots the way that they are.  trust me, we're not going to have any shortage of battleground polls from him over these last few weeks.  (and PA isn't terribly much closer than CA at this point, but that's a different story)

Well, it doesn't really cost much to make phone calls across the country this day in age.  So I don't see how it can be hard to poll even a place like Alaska...  Hawaii may be a problem, but no one worries about Hawaii with it being deeeeep in the DEM tank anyway.
