Musgrove and Wicker also look too much alike to tell apart.

Seeing Chambliss go away would easily be the biggest highlight of the campaign.

Coleman because he was the least member to go down especially to a comedian turned politician and celebrity after the Ventura fiasco in MN.

I'll have to agree with most here and say Chambliss.

The thing that startled me the most about Chambliss's 2002 campaign was the fact that all he had to do was say Max Cleland was "unpatriotic" and run an ad picturing him with bin Laden. Then BAM!! The people believed it enough to reject Cleland. Sounds a bit like the 1950's Red Scare if you asked me. The last thing Max Cleland deserves to be called is unpatriotic.

Mississippi would be a nice pickup, but not a moral victory. I don't personally dislike Coleman or McConnell (although McConnell does strike me as a bit of a weenie Tongue )

I know this is supposed to be focused exclusively on Senate races, but there is no Republican I want to see lose more than Michele Bachmann.

If by some chance this election sweeps out Bachmann AND Murtha, we can all join hands and sing kumbaya.

But for some reason you love her strong supporter Norm Coleman.

The point I was making was that most people on the right thought after the Ventura fiasco and celebrity couldn't win in MN again and in MN people thought Franken jokes were stale, but it isn't a laughing matter now that in 4 out of the last 5 polls have Franken defeating Coleman.

I don't love Norm.  I hate Franken.

How anyone can hate Franken more than that vile piece of trashing occupying Paul Wellstone's seat unless they're a far right winger is beyond me.

I love how the Cleland groupies have no idea he did nothing from the time he got elected until a week before he lost.  If he had lifted a finger before the end of October 2002, he would have won.

Franken was not the best pick for you guys and you know it.  I agree, Norm Coleman is a piece of trash, but Franken is not striking me as wrapped too tight.  Amy Klobuchar would be my prefered MN Senator regardless of whether Franken or Coleman wins.  That said I still want Franken to win.

Even if Franken wins, he's destined to be a 1-term senator. He'd have to really impress people with his legslative skills to not either lose re-election or become the next Mark Dayton.
