Department of External Affairs

Welcome to me office.

I will restart a Foreign Policy Review as soon as I can, and I'm interested in starting a public panel relating to our relations with China, Russia, and possibly other nations. I'm interested in hearing the public mood about those nations and Atlasia.

Communique from the DoEA

The Republic of Atlasia would like to congratulate Stephen Harper and the Conservative Party of Canada on their re-election in yesterday's Canadian election.

The government congratulates Steve. Not me personally.

Communique from the DoEA

The Republic of Atlasia condemns the recent Azerbaijani presidential elections, which were a total fraud and entirely illegitimate.

Can the DoEA offer guidance as to what constitutes 'partial restrictions' as opposed to 'full restrictions'?

Partial restrictions means either partial military and economic restrictions, partial military but no economic restrictions, or partial economic but no military restrictions. The final draft will offer more detail into that case-by-case.

The first one is absurd, the second is unprofessional and insulting

Your friend MasterJedi had basically the same policy concerning Venezuela, in fact. He didn't impose any restrictions whatsoever.

And I'm sorry you don't have a sense of humour.

Azerbaijan: Full restrictions

What is the problem there?

And why do you have concerns about corruption in Columbia, but not say Mexico?

Hopefully the decline in oil prices, and staying there, due to the meltdown and coming deep recession, will defund the perp running the place, and he will come tumbling down. There are silver linings to everything. Russian antics should also slow down considerably.

There's a dictatorship in power there in case you haven't been following.

As I keep repeating, but nobody seems to cares/listen, more detail will be added on the final draft.

We have concerns over corruption and we keep calling for more democratic progress, but we are pleased over some progresses made in that sense.
