Agreed. And here I was thinking that Obama would only win Virginia narrowly this November. What a mistake, according to numerous polls released this month, that has proven to be. Oh how happy I am. Though I'm sure Ben would be more so happier than myself Wink.

Virginia, slightly. New Hampshire is so quirky that Obama could lose it even if he wins the election in a landslide (though I think that particular result is unlikely)

I think all of us estimated how hard New England would swing against McCain, plus a lot of us thought Obama would have trouble there because of the primary. He lost his and McCain won his, plus much was made in the media about McCain's deep unique bond with the state. Some people (including myself) mistakenly thought there was a Bradley Effect in the primary when it was really just bad polling. However, what wasn't widely noticed was that Obama had gotten more votes in his primary than McCain got in his.
