Kal: Win or lose, I'm voting for McCain.

Even when discouraged, we will vote. You can count on it!

The best you can hope for is to die in your sleep 2 of those 3.

We don't do hope. We have faith. Faith is much stronger.

it is possible.

im of the belief that either mccain is going to squeak this thing out, or obama is going to rack up 400 evs.  the latter appears more likely at the moment.

Short Form: Barr is not a guy that can get things done. He is just desperately trying to make a name for himself like Ron Paul. They aren't real men. They just want an image. They are fakes. McCain is a guy I know will do what he thinks is right, and that means a whole lot of corrupt Washington skull splitting and a completely different approach to the executive branch.

Shorter Form: He sucks, and I actually like McCain.

McCains most likely to win in NC. Least likely in VA and decently likely in FL.

Obama is going to win VA (and probably the other two as well).

I truly hate saying this, but the election isn't here yet, and the race may tighten.  2 of those three will probably go for Obama (NC will go for McCain), but I guess McCain technically has a chance.

It's a lock if McCain wins the national popular vote. Piece of cake actually. Smiley

People want "change", but do they want "drastic change".   I'm basing my hunch on the fact they don't.

Nate on 538 says Obama's numbers in VA are 1-2 points ahead of the national average. So McCain has a serious structural disadvantage in the electoral college, unless he wins by 1-2 points nationally which frankly is a wet dream for Conservatives.

He can win all three and still lose the election without CO and NV.

Obama pretty much has 264 in the bag. McCain needs to bring in all the swing states, not just those 3.

He's screwed.

Plausible but unlikely.

At least you're not predicting a McCain win in DC (the ultimate sign of poor hackery).

He'll win VA and possibly FL. I have a hard time thinking he'll pull it off in NC.

Agreed. Though I'm still struggling to picture an Obama victory in Florida. Nonethless, I expect it to be a close race between Obama and McCain in the Sunshine State on Election Day.

I would still be really, really, really surprised if Obama won 2 out of 3 and still pretty surprised if he pulled off VA.  NC and FL are not going to happen for Obama

Well if Obama does win VA, and hold on to NM and NH, and all these 3 states loks like certain Obama, it's game over even if McCain win FL and NC I believe.
